Early 1960’s era Henderson’s. ABW w/iv@ry mounts, ferrules and ring caps. Sold as sticks & stocks.
P. Henderson Ltd. stamped beneath each cord guide and bass middle section. Pipes were stripped of the old flaking finish and refinished with an oil and wax finish to show the quality of the wood. No cracks or splits in the blackwood. There is, however, one crack in the old original blowpipe tenon, (see photo). Nowadays most players use an aftermarket blowpipe, but want to be honest in the description.
Iv@ry mounts, ferrules and caps are all in fantastic shape with no cracks or splits. Drone caps show some slight dings but in no way deter from sound or appearance.
Also included is an early ABW Henderson practice chanter w/Catalin sole.
Classic Henderson sound from the drones, and lock in straight away.
