Early Robertson Chanter that has seen better days. Three old-time repairs, but air tight repairs, no leaks around the repairs. Not sure of the wood. Could be coccus or Kingwood. Big reach for the player. 17cm from the bottom of LG to the top of HG. Nice tone and tunes at about 460 with most reeds. Still a very playable chanter if you wanted to play it.
The name is almost readable. I can see enough letters to know Robertson as you can see the “T” before the “son”
The sole is threaded on and removable.
