I am thinning the herd due to a recent acquisition of a set of Hamish Moore Borderpipes. These African Blackwood Fred Morrison Reelpipes (bellows blown) are in very good condition. I have played them a ton and recently used them for a recording project. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them, I just don’t need two sets of borderpipes. The chanter reed I have in is fantastic. It gives a great Cnat, Fnat, Eflat and Gsharp. I will include a few spare reeds with the set, but you’ll likely not need them. The drones are very steady (ezee drone reeds), the bag (synthetic) and bellows are airtight. The bellows are especially comfortable and very efficient. This set has a drone switch, which is very handy for playing with other musicians when you don’t need the drones going. The metal work is Celtic engraved nickel.
