Replica of a 19th Century Sourdine, made by Denny Hall. The Sourdine was a small mouth-blown musette that may have been used by Cabrette pipers as an indoor or practice instrument. Plays in G with current set up (plastic reeds). I thought at first that it played at F# but after seasoning the bag it actually plays in G.
Both chanter and drone are operational. Made of Ebony, leather bag, and horn mount on mouthpiece. The leather bag has been seasoned and is airtight. I have made a short video to show what it sounds.
I am selling this for a friend.
