Full set of Chalice top bagpipes in Mopane.
With initiation ivory mounts and imitation gold slides and ferrules
Narrow bore, beautiful wood and mellow tone.
The Mopane chanter is a beautiful piece of wood – f is a tad flat but the chanter hasn’t been carved.
These were bought as a project about 10 years ago.
I don’t know the provenance of these pipes but the bores are straight and clean.
So selling as a beginner or maybe a reenactment type set of pipes due to their style/finish.
Includes MG Carbon Fibre drone reeds, a medium Canmore zipper bag, blue drone chords and a Kilberry bag cover – please note these pipes are not made by Kilberry!
