German Renaissance style bagpipes by Denny Hall.
Denny made them a few years ago but they were never sold, so they are in excellent condition. The leather bag is air-tight; the drone reeds are all-cane and the chanter reed is plastic.
Made of Oregon Mountain Mahogany and imitation ivory mounts.
UPDATE: The chanter plays almost at G# with the current plastic reed.
The fingering is similar to Highland or Scottish smallpipes, with the exception that it has sharp sevenths, but the top flat seventh is possible by cross fingering, much like French cornemuse fingering. Several accidentals (f & c naturals) are also possible because of the conical design of the bore.
The pipes are available as long as this ad is visible – because of scammers, I will not reply to messages only asking if it is available.
