I’m downsizing my smallpipe collection. A lovely set of Fireside pipes with dark Cocobolo drones, stainless steel ferrules and in excellent condition. The chanter is polypenco. The reeds are the standard Gibson chanter and drone set.
The original Canmore small synthetic bag is leaking through its seam. Rather than replacing it, I decided to sell it as is, which gives the next owner the opportunity to replace it with a type of bag of their choice. The bag cover is roomy, and it does cover an extended small bag. I’m not sure about a medium, I don’t have one to try it on.
To purchase this set new from Gibson, cocobolo with stainless steel ferrules, is over $1,000. And you have no choice for the type of bag, you get synthetic.
