For sale is a proposed (unstamped) J&R Glen circa 1922 set. These are cocuswood and ivory with nickle ferrules, however 3 of the stocks (Tenor, chanter and blowpipe) have been replaced with ABW due to cracks. The Bass Done has been repaired as the photo illustrates. Included is a chanter with natural sole again this is not stamped. This set has brass-lined tuning slides and produce the unmistakable smooth tone of Glen bagpipes. Included are either dark navy silk cords or Silver cords of your choice, either an Extended Small or Medium Canmore Hybrid, Highlands moisture control with valves, a Pipe Case and Canning drone reeds which have been matched to this set. It’s a playable set on receiving.
