This military horsehair sporran, sometimes called a piper’s sporran, bears the emblem of the Gordon Highlanders. It has been refurbished with a gilt cantle, gilt tassel balls and a gilt and leather chain. The Gordon’s emblem was retained at front center. Its provenance (the embossed maker’s name “Kinloch Anderson,” “Made in Scotland” and the year “1983”) is visible in one photograph; another shows the full leather pocket with snap closure at rear. (I also have a gilt polished brass Celtic knot sword kilt pin listed here on Bagpipe Central; it makes a great coordinating accessory.) Buyer pays shipping. Thanks for looking.
