Grainger & Campbell Bagpipes Circa 1965.
A chance to hold History in your hand. A beautiful set that was gently used and still has the original finish, which is in great condition. The Pipes are African Blackwood and fully mounted in Imitation Ivory, and the mounts have a yellowed patina. The Blackwood blowpipe was cracked, but has been professionally repaired by reaming it out and a brass sleeve has been epoxied in so it will never be affected by moisture and will never crack again.
There are no other cracks or chips in this set, and it comes with the original Pipe Chanter.
Also included is the original Bagpipe Case and original receipt dated August 11, 1965.
