With the 2021 pipe band season cancelled, I am selling another set of pipes.
Half Silver Strathmore bagpipes No. 5 bagpipes – Half Silver, beautifully hand engraved in the Victorian Scroll.

Imitation ivory mounts have chips in them (cosmetic only). No mouthpiece.
These pipes were made for me in 2006, and have been by my side for many piping adventures. They were crafted with a noticeable amount of care and precision, are of the highest quality, and have been incredibly reliable. Rock steady, robust and warm.
I’ve played them for prizes at the top level in solo competition, including the Canadian Gold Medal, the Canadian Bar to the Gold, the Maxville Open Piobaireachd, prizes in the silver medal, and light music overseas.
These were my primary band bagpipe with the 78th Frasers, as Pipe Major of the Toronto Police Grade 1 Pipe Band, and most recently with the Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band in 2019.
They’ve been played in performance as well with Bryan Adams, the Tartan Terrors, and at the Live Back in Ireland concert in Glasgow in 2016.
These pipes have been proven at a very high level of solo and band competition, and in performance.
These pipes would retail new at approximately $5000 and up.
Because of the minor chips in the imitation ivory, and no mouthpiece, I am offering these at a generously reduced price.
