For sale are my Henry Stark pipes – sticks and stocks. I’ve suffered an injury and can’t play any more. When i bought them, I was told they were circa 1910 – and they were refurbished (ring caps mainly) years ago by Dave MacMurchie, who confirmed them to be made by Stark. They have a balanced tone – maybe a little more emphasis on the bass drone, and are fabulously steady pipes, used for piobaireachd, though would be fine for band work. They’re not fancy on the outside, but they sound wonderful. I’m selling the drones, stocks, and with them a plastic blowpipe. I also have a near new Canmore extended small bag for sale, and a ‘bagpiper’ carry case for sale, and some Crosier carbon fibre drone reeds (which remain rock steady with any moisture) – just let me know what you need. Note, I am selling the sticks and stocks separately because I am anticipating the person who buys these will be someone already playing. I’m happy to send more photos on request. Buyer pays freight.
