Selling a superb set of Ian D. Murray bagpipes. African blackwood with imitation ivory mounts and hand engraved Sterling silver slides date stamped 2006. Ian’s craftsmanship and attention to detail is a hallmark of his work. Everything is turned by hand. Ian trained at Gillanders pipe makers in Forfar. The Gillanders’ Family used skills that were directly handed down from the MacDougalls of Aberfeldy. This set is close to pristine condition. Easy to reed with no strike in issues whatsoever. The combing and beading is really something and the imitation ivory the best I have seen. Air mail shipping with tracking and insurance is $38 usd.
