*ANOTHER Price Drop* :)
Inveran pipes, circa 2002. Mounted with reclaimed silver & natural mounts with the exception of the slides, which were new to the pipes (hallmarked 2002). All 3 drones stamped “INVERAN” in the cord guides. All bores straight, and they produce a stable, room-filling sound with great harmonics to blend with the chanter.
There is the expected cosmetic wear and tear associated with a 20 y/o set of drones with much older mounts. When I received the pipes, I discovered that one tenor stock was a replacement that did not match the rest of the set. I had a new replacement made by Dunbar in Ontario to be a much closer match (shown in photos) with original ferrule remounted. I also had Dunbar produce a new blowpipe (8″) to match the set.
I have been playing these in for the last few months, and have been impressed. Brian is no longer making pipes, so this is a unique opportunity to get a one-of-a-kind set! Reason for sale is to offset personal expenses, otherwise I would keep them.
