My other musical interests mean that it’s time for me to sell my piping gear. This is my first set of pipes, purchased new in 2010. I played them through parades and practices, band events and solo events for 12 years before deciding to move on to other instruments.
These pipes are reasonably priced because I hope that a newer student of piping can afford them as his or her “first set of pipes.” They are technically in good condition and have been regularly cared for (and oiled- I’m a woodworker). There are two things to point out: first, the stock of the blowpipe will come with the set but if I were buying them I would get a new blowpipe that suited me, along with a moose valve to improve the playability of these (or any) pipes. Second, in one photo you will see a scratch on the stock of a drone. I cannot find any evidence of this going through the wood so as to make it a crack, and so I believe it is a scratch that could be cosmetically filled-or even just ignored.
In any event, these pipes at this price will satisfy the piper for years to come.
