This is a 1920ish J. Robertson of Edinburgh pipe chanter with a natural sole. It is un-carved with the original age worn finish.
The bad news is the bottom of the sole has the initials ‘SW’ etched in and filled in with blue ink (unless your name is Sam or Shirley Wood).
