After finding an identical set on the bagpipe museum web page I am convinced these are JR Glen. The catalin drone bushes indicate 1940s – 1960s. African blackwood or Cocus wood. No original blowpipe. The bass drone is very flat and will either need a custom reed or some other alteration to bring it up to modern pitch. Otherwise this set is nice and only needs a bit of TLC. Selling complete with new RG Hardie Bb flat chanter, and Balance Tone drone reeds, Canmore pipe bag. A custom EZ drone bass reed is on order at the time of posting this.
