JT Forbes Bagpipes of Dundee.
A rare opportunity to buy a set of premium bagpipes most definitely turned by James Robertson of Edinburgh. Tonally these pipes are as good as it gets as well as being a collectors item.
The pipes are made from what I have been told is iron wood, wood that used to be shipped into leith as ballast on merchant vessels. The pipes include a JT Forbes, Dundee chanter which came with the pipes and appears to be original to the set and matches the casien ring caps and bushes.
