Would you like to take over my “clan”?
My piping has come to an end. Now I would like to sell my kilt, sporran, and pipe banner, and maybe even the tartan trousers. The tartan used was one I designed myself, and I called it after my mother: Jenny Faemseter, – who lived in western Norway. Like so many others my mother’s family were peasants, and the “clan crest” has the motto: “Labor Et Molior” – ‘I strive and build’ – meaning that my work is something I decide to do through strive. The crest has the hay fork and the scythe – two of the tools of a farmer. The sporran is a spacious one – made by Celtic Leatherworks in the USA, and the crest was made after my pattern. The kilt is in the designed colour, and the pipe banner has the same crest, also. A fly plaid made from the same tartan is also available.
Kilt is in wool, medium weight. Measurements: Length: 26.77 inches. Waist measurement: 38.6 inches – can be taken out to 43.3 inches
Trousers: Length: 48 inches
Waist measurement: 44 inches – can be adjusted by the side bucles. More photos are available by e-mail, if interested?
