These pipes were purchased in 2000. I took lessons and was pretty good on the chanter, but was never able to play one full song on the pipes. These pipes were practiced for about one year, then I just stuck to the practice chanter.
I did rebag and rehemp the pipes thinking that I would start up again in 2007. No luck. And, I moved to an apartment.
The pipes have since lived in their case in my master closet.
There are no cracks or flaws on the drones.

I did notice that in the move, even though I have the drones wrapped, a chip of the tortise shell came off. It is intact and could be glued on seamlessly. I did not glue it in case there is a more professional way to repair it than glue. So, it is wrapped up with the pipes.
Everything else about them seems great…. that being said, I’m only able to get one big groan out of them; so, it is difficult for me to tell.
