Lovely stand of 1970’s Matt Marshall turned R. G. Lawrie Blackwood bagpipes. Combed and beaded with imitation projection mounts, ring caps and bushings. A few of the original ferrules were missing, so they have all been professionally replaced. The drones and stocks are in incredible condition for their age, arrow straight and beautiful wood grain.
With Ezeedrone reeds, they tune at around 478 Hz on the hemp lines and can easily get to 482 Hz. A period Lawrie blackwood chanter is included. A nice vintage instrument from a quality craftsman.
