Selling my Maclellan smallpipes. I got these about two years ago and Ive realized I just do not play them enough to warrant keeping such a lovely set in the closet all the time. The craftsmanship is fantastic and they have a sweet sound.
This is the 3-drone full set (Bass, Baritone, Tenor).
Buyer pays a flat fee $25 shipping anywhere in the US.
Pipe is of course in excellent condition, I’ve only played it about a half dozen times or so.
This set today from Roddy’s shop would have cost at least $1,600 new, but alas he’s not even making wood pipe sets now as of March 2026. So this is now sort of a rare hard-to-find set.
