I bought this McCallum poly Ceol chanter about three years ago. It has been kept in great condition. There are no carvings. However, I have adjusted the standard Ceol stile sole. I lathed some parts of the sole off, and glued a piece of imitation ivory on. The sound is still the same; it is just a different look.
