These are two short-sleeved Flying Cross Duro Poplin shirts for wear with kilted attire, trews or trousers. One is 65% Dacron polyester/35% cotton and marked “16-1/2”, the other is 65% Dacron polyester/35% rayon and marked “XL”. Both are lightweight and durable. They can be worn with a tie, or open collar. They are equipped with white sewn hook and loop, wool side attachments at the shoulders which can be removed if not needed. The attachments are specifically for use with various agency shoulder patches as selected for public occasions by a ceremonial bagpiper who supports multiple agencies. The various patches would have mating hook attachment material sewn on for easy change among them. The loop attachment material can be left on the shirts or can easily be permanently removed for traditional wear with sewn-on patches, or none. The shirts are equipped with military creases front and back, shoulder straps and pocket flaps. There are reinforced badge holes which are not obvious if a badge isn’t worn.
