I need to reduce the number of bagpipes in my collection, so I have decided to offer this set for sale.
For sale is my Peter Henderson PH2HT Heritage, made from African Blackwood with boxwood projecting mounts and sterling silver.
This set was specially ordered with hand-engraved Victorian silver instead of the standard Thistle pattern.

The silver carries a 2025 Edinburgh hallmark.
Tone
These pipes have a big, deep and full Henderson sound, with a strong bass, rich tenors and a smooth, resonant low-mid character. The overall sound is powerful and warm, with plenty of depth while retaining good clarity.
Condition
The pipes are in very good overall condition. The woodwork and fittings show normal light wear from use, and the silver has some light surface marks and fine scratches, but there is no significant damage.
The boxwood mounts have received one light application of linseed oil.
The Bannatyne hybrid bag has some separation between the inner neck material and the outer fabric. This does not affect normal use.
One pair of tenor sections has a white identification mark, indicating the pair with the slightly larger bore and bushing combination.

The original silver mouthpiece was specially ordered with a custom boxwood valve section in place of the standard black one. As the mouthpiece has not been used, the boxwood is a different colour from the other boxwood parts of the pipes.
The R.G. Hardie case shows normal signs of use, including some wear to the gold-coloured trim.
The pipes are located in Japan, and international shipping is available.
