Vintage R G Lawrie blackwood bagpipes. Combed and beaded, with classic Lawrie tapered ferrules, catalin projection mounts, ring caps and bushings. The chanter stock is a polypenco replacement and a newer Grainger & Campbell blackwood pipe chanter is included. The pipe chanter does not appear to have been carved, but my sense is that it has been sitting in a pipe case for quite a while.
Some scratches, ferrule discoloration, nicks and dings, that are consistent with the age, but nothing that impacts the playability of the set. The pipes have been cleaned and oiled.
Comes fully set up with a Canmore (medium) zippered synthetic pipe bag, blowpipe valve, new Ezeedrone drone reeds, adjustable drone valves, new Bannatyne bottle water trap, new zippered bag cover and matching drone cords.
