SOLD This is a very Rare Military Un Issued Doublet/Tunic for the Gordon Highlanders in Archer Green wool, Highland Regiment, No. 1 Dress tunic. The Gordon Highlanders and other former regiments are now incorporated into the Royal Regiment of Scotland. These military woolen jackets are exceedingly rare in this large size. It is sized 188/116/100, so will fit up to a 45.5
(116 cm.) chest. It has a waist size of 39. 1/2″. The sleeve length is 28″ (71 cm) and the length of the collar to the waistband , not including the skirt portion is 18′ (45.5cm).
From the neck seam measured down the back to the bottom of the wool fabric is…25 1/2″. from the armpit measured down the inside sleeve to the cuff is… 22 1/2.
Archer Green is a very dark, almost black color. The piping is white wool.
There are 28 Gordon Highlanders Buttons on the epaulets, sleeves, breast and front and back skirts. The buttons are quite rare now.
