I have a Robert Reid practice chanter bottom for sale. This chanter is made of Blackwood, with a plastic sole. There is a small piece of a lighter wood on the side of the chanter, and the holes are straight bore instead of countersunk. The makers stamp is hard to see, I am happy to provide more pictures if needed.
This is a great collectors item, and this chanter gives a really nice vintage feel and sound. It’s cool to imagine this grand old PC being turned by Reid himself, or being inspected by the man.
