Superb example of James Robertson bagpipes made in 1940s/ 1950s, complete with signature large ivory projecting mounts, engraved silver (ferrules, slides, ring caps, mouthpiece and chanter sole – likely retro fitted). The tone and stability from this instrument is of the highest quality and the pipes have been looked after extremely well since new (a testament to the previous owner’s care and maintenance). Prior to my purchase the pipes were owned in Edinburgh originally before being taken to the London area. Included is medium Canmore hybrid zip bag and Bannatye dry Flo system.
