Beautiful set of James Robertson bagpipes dating from the 1920s as per the double scribe in the middle of the ferrules and general design of the timber and projecting mounts. A fantastic instrument tonaly and in superb condition. The bores are straight and the pipes tune as you would expect with the bass and tenors tuning high even at modern pitch. We dont see many sets in full ivory with the mid ferrule scribe and a lovely vintage set now at 100 years old
