Robertson bagpipes dating from approximately the 1940s (gauged on profiles and projection style). Quite unusual to see a half nickel set of Robertsons and they are a great find.
The ivory has spider markings throughout however all are stable and a common characteristic in ivory (especially when the size of Roberston projecting mounts). The pipes tune high on the pins and are a great playing set, with the sought after big rich Robertson tone. Stocks have anomalies (bass stock replacement & blowpipe stock cracked – replacement splitstock can be provided if required) which is reflected in the pricing
