With more than 40 years of experience to his name, the late, great Malcolm Dowie was a former Scots Guards piper, and silversmith to the Royal Family. It truly is exceptional craftsmanship.
Blackwood and imitation ivory on caps and ferrules. Wood in excellent condition. No cracks or imperfections. Solid sounding set. A couple of cosmetic dings (one on the bass drone projecting mount, and a chipped blowpipe mount). There’s also a DIY glue repair on the mid-section of the bass drone as well.
Includes a poly David Naill chanter.
