24 Sinclair pipe chanters – ABW – 2008 – Serial numbers from AWS 3071- AWS 3100, made in 2008
These chanters are the set played by Simon Fraser University Pipe Band when they won back to back “World Pipe Band Championships” grade 1 – in 2008/09. Most have been altered to suit the needs of SFU, the original band and you should view this as a common occurrence in bands of this caliber. This set was specifically designed to SFU specifications and crafted by Alastair Sinclair (Leith – Scotland) in 2008 to meet the demanding needs of this World Class pipe band. Our band (Niagara Regional Police PB) has successfully played these for 5 years and the new PM has decided to move to a new sound. There are 24 chanter in total and can be purchased as a set or a partial grouping. Individuals looking for a fantastic solo sound or bands looking to play a set – as played at the Worlds – should consider this a great opportunity.
Prices are: 1 – 4 chanters $225 each: 5 – 10 chanters $210 each: 11 + chanters – $195 each
