** The other two chanters in the photo are now sold **
The old Taylor style chanter (in the middle) is a real gem, I have it in D with a rush but it plays very happily in Eb too, which I heard all the kids are doing these days. A very special and rare chanter, I’ve only seen one other by this (as of yet) unknown maker, but there is a lot in common with early Leo and Taylor chanters, and certainly holds its own amongst the big names. I’m guessing late 1800s or early 1900s, as it is a shorter 14 inch chanter and in the older Taylor ‘long block’ mode. It came with a set of M. Egan pipes that was owned by collector Joseph Moyes. With a modern cap on it, but there’s plenty makers out there to do you a period corned Taylor cap if you want.
Feel free to ask me any questions. Rather keep postage to the UK (or collection from Cardiff) but open to post further at buyers expense. The Taylor has ivory so that’ll probably have to be UK only.
