Before you ask, yes, these are the real deal.
Selling off my 1930’s P. Henderson Cocuswood pipes.
Purchased from Brown’s Bagpipe Supply (Kingston Ontario) back in 2016, after they had been refurbished by McCallum.
Imitation Ivory, and machine engraved nickel slides, on some beautiful wood – recently inspected and oiled and are in great shape, and of course that big Henderson sound.
The blowpipe threads are showing their age, so I make a point of ensuring they are kept well oiled and clean (and hold the mouthpiece in place securely). A hint of sapwood on the bass drone is pictured.
Bagged in a synthetic zippered banatyne bag, with ez-drone tenor reeds, and Kinnaird carbon bass drone reed, with a McCallum poly chanter. Black bag cover and chords, and carry case included.
$2900 CAD, located in Kingston Ontario Canada.
Interac E-transfer is preferred (or even crypto like Ethereum (add 5% for exchange fees)).
I can ship (actual shipping cost plus packing materials).
Obviously, in person pickup is preferred.
Reason for selling? I rarely pull them out as of late, and would much prefer someone enjoy a very vintage and desirable set of pipes, hence my fair and modest price.
