Perfect candidate for restoration projects. Vintage RG Hardie chanter with original sole. Overall very good condition. No carving evident on chanter or reed seat and tenon in good condition. Modern reeds will not work with this chanter…will need to use old style reeds for playing. Fresh waxed-yellow hemp on tenon. Sole outer diameter is 2 7/8”, in enter diameter of sole is ~1 7/32”. No cracks (chanter or sole). Patina consistent with age.
