Stunning stand of fully combed and beaded button-mount highland bagpipes. I am the third owner of these pipes, and they date to somewhere between 70 and 80 years old. The pipes are not marked, but the combing, beading and drone profile suggest Glen lineage. The pipes are in excellent shape with no cracks, chips, or warps. Bores are smooth and true, producing an excellent balanced harmonious sound.
They come with a new Bannatyne hybrid zippered bag (Medium), a William Sinclair pipe chanter, Rocket drone reeds, Moose valve, Dunbar blowpipe mouthpiece, R. T. Shepherd Drone Enhancers, Peter Henderson practice chanter, bag cover, cords and a battered but functional rare leather pipe case.
These are truly an heirloom instrument!
