Lovely stand of Grainger & Campbell African blackwood bagpipes. Fully combed and beaded, with imitation projection mounts, ferrules, ring caps and bushings. The pipes are in incredible condition, gorgeous grain that is free of any cracks, varnish flaking, nicks or chips. Internal bores are true.
Comes with a blackwood Grainger pipe chanter and a Moose valve in the blowpipe stock. Tied into a thick, supple, and airtight hide pipe bag. Cover and matching cords included. Local pick-up could include a functional pipe case but prefer to mail/ship without any case to reduce shipping costs. Drones lock in nicely, with a very blended and harmonious sound.
Available Upgrades include (CDN); new David Naill poly chanter ($160) – the Grainger chanter tunes a bit lower than modern pitch, Ezeedrone reeds ($95), Shepherd SM90 drone reeds, ($50).
