Lovely stand of African Blackwood Grainger & Campbell bagpipes (60’s era). The pipes are fully combed and beaded with nickel ferrules and imitation mounts, ring caps and bushings. The drones and stocks have beefy side walls and a big, bold, steady sound. They are in very good condition for their age and the mounts are free of any chips. The bores are arrow straight and the stocks are tied into an airtight, supple hide bag. One of the tenor tops looks to be from an earlier set, but the combing, beading and mounts match perfectly.
Included in the package is the original blackwood pipe chanter (stamped), a Gibson poly pipe chanter with cap, a TrueHand long poly practice chanter with countersunk holes, a set of Ezeedrone reeds, a practice chanter reed, a Little Mac valve, some beginner music books, a bag cover and matching drone cords.
Local sale will include a pipe case, Will ship at buyer’s expense. Asking $650USD/$900 CDN
