Vintage Parlor Pipes
Estate Sale find! A very interesting, and very old, set of Highland Parlor Bagpipes. They are flat combed with button mounts and metal ferrules. They function the same as Great Highland Pipes but are smaller and quieter.
At some point, a few of the ferrules were rather crudely replaced but that is an easy fix if someone wanted to do a full restoration. Bores are true, but the wood has some nicks and chips commensurate with an instrument of this age.
I have included one of the original metal ring caps, again easily matched if required. The chanter looks to be a later addition.
They come with the bag cover, cords, chanter reed and a collection of cane and synthetic drone reeds.
