A 1950’s/early 1960’s era set of R.G. Lawrie Bagpipes. The pipes are made of African Blackwood and are fully combed and beaded with classic Lawrie ferrules. The projection mounts and ring caps are a made of a phenolic material that has retained its original patina and resisted chipping, the bushings are Catalin. The pipes are in good shape with just a few nicks which would be consistent with their age and use. The blowpipe is a Dunbar poly replacement with the original projection mount used. The set comes with a Bannatyne synthetic, zippered, pipe bag (M), water trap (new), a McCallum Blackwood bagpipe chanter, Canning drone reeds (new), a Moose valve (new) and a zippered bag cover with matching cords.
