Vintage 1950’s/1960’s RG Hardie Highland Bagpipes – Nickel & Aged Catalin mounts, sticks & stocks. Authentic set in African Blackwood, owned personally since 1967 and used when I played with Singers Pipe Band in the late 1960’s.
Mounts, full original Catalin projecting mounts that have aged over the last 60 years into a stunning pumpkin orange. Metalwork, Nickel ferrules/ring caps which have aged over vintage polished lustre. Wood and mounts are in excellent vintage shape without any structural cracks. The sale includes two RG Hardie chanters of the same period. Note: Selling as sticks and stocks, the bag and cords are aged and would need replaced by buyer
