Vintage 1950’s/1960’s RG Lawrie Highland Bagpipes – Nickel & Aged Catalin mounts, sticks & stocks. Authentic set in African Blackwood, owned personally since 1967 and used when I played with Singers Pipe Band in the late 1960’s.
Mounts, full original Catalin projecting mounts that have aged over the last 60 years into a stunning pumpkin orange. Metalwork, Nickel ferrules/ring caps which have aged to a vintage polished lustre. Wood and mounts are in excellent vintage shape without any structural cracks. The sale includes two RG Hardie chanters of the same period. Note: Selling as sticks and stocks, the bag and cords are aged and would need replaced by buyer
