Well executed copy of a late 1700s ‘John’ Egan set of union pipes. Concert pitch. Boxwood, brass and imitation ivory. 4 drones. 1 reg. Keyless chanter. Hollow mainstock. Very nice stitched bellows. No drone shut off. Made by Brad Angus and recently returned from his shop where it had a tune up, including replacing the cracked and glued baritone drone mount that can be seen in some of these photos.
This was a lockdown purchase and is a lovely and fun little set with gorgeous rich drones. However earlier this year I was lucky enough to acquire a real 18th century Egan set, so having a copy of one as well seems like one set too many! Plus I also have a C set on order from Sam Lawrence so need to replenish the pipes fund

Asking £2950 or nearest offer. Happy to ship if buyer pays costs. Message any questions.
